Certified management
An ISO 14001-certified management system committed to cutting CO₂ emissions across the entire life of an ACME vehicle: from production all the way to end-of-life recycling.
Cleaner materials
New vehicles are engineered to eliminate toxic substances such as lead, hexavalent chromium, cadmium and mercury wherever possible.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
A 360° environmental approach that maximizes energy efficiency while minimizing waste — dismantling every ACME vehicle at the end of its life, hybrid components and batteries included.
Reduce
The use of heavy metals in ACME vehicles has fallen dramatically — close to zero today. Cleaner materials now stand in for polluting metals.
Reuse
A collection program takes back worn parts from dealers and routes them to recovery centers. Everything is remanufactured — including the most durable components.
Recycle
ACME developed ASOP (ACME Super Olefin Polymer), a fully recyclable plastic. Since 2010, ACME has also used a bio-PET made from plant materials such as sugarcane.
